Virtual reality and neurofeedback: towards a more inclusive city The Olifantenpad Consortium believes the era of well-intentioned drawing-board plans and the unplanned desire paths people carve out afterwards is over. The Olifantenpad Consortium is developing a participation tool that reveals people's conscious and unconscious responses to a spatial environment or design, using VR, AI and neurofeedback grounded in environmental psychology. The tool provides broad insight into how different groups of people experience a spatial environment, helping to prevent urban planning mistakes, costly changes after the fact, and delays in the construction process.
